Loved the cozy atmosphere at Rinn Gion Yasaka. The tatami flooring in the Queen Room added a unique touch, making it feel traditional yet comfortable. The mountain view was stunning, especially from the top-floor room. Spacious layout allowed for easy movement and a sitting area was perfect for relaxation. The laundry facilities made it convenient to keep our clothes fresh. Staff were genuinely helpful, providing recommendations for exploring the area. However, I noticed that closet space was a bit limited, with just a few hooks available for clothes. It felt a bit awkward not having a designated wardrobe, especially for longer stays. Walking to downtown Kyoto took about 20 minutes, beautiful but a little tiring after a long day. Also, having no breakfast option on-site was a downside. it would have been great to grab something quick in the morning without going out.

The tatami flooring in the Queen Room added a unique traditional touch, making my stay feel authentic.
There was limited closet space with just a few hooks for hanging clothes, which made organizing a bit challenging.

Finding the hotel was a nightmare. three different taxi drivers couldn't get it right. The hotel is poorly marked, and I had to rely on the staff, who weren’t particularly fluent in English, to guide me through several calls to get the smart TV functioning. The fridge in our room was barely cold, making it impossible to chill any beverages.
